Energy Medicine for Everyday Life Classes 2017– 2018


Once a month on a Tuesday evening from 7.00 – 8.00 pm, starting on Tuesday 7 November 2017. There will be 10 classes, but you can start attending at any point during the series.

What are the Energy Medicine for Everyday Life Classes about?

The classes offer the opportunity to learn simple energy techniques to help with everyday issues such as dealing with stress and anxiety and ways to feel more positive and joyful.

The classes are based mainly on the teaching of Donna Eden, the originator of Eden Energy Medicine. They also draw upon the work of other energy medicine teachers and on insights from Chinese medicine and acupressure.

What is Eden Energy Medicine?

Eden Energy Medicine (EEM) utilises techniques from healing traditions such as acupuncture, yoga, kinesiology and Qi gong. It is both an independent approach to self-care and self-help, and a complement to medical care. It can address both physical illness and emotional issues, and it can also promote wellness and peak performance.

What will the Energy Medicine for Everyday Life Classes involve?

There will be a series of 10 one-hour classes. See the schedule with the dates and topics below. During each class, you will learn a number of energy techniques that you can use to balance your body’s energies. As a result, you may experience one or more of the following:

  • Feeling more energised
  • Feeling calmer and more relaxed
  • Feeling more balanced in general
  • Having greater clarity of mind
  • Noticing a lift in your mood

Are the energy techniques easy to learn and practise?

Yes. There will be a demonstration of each of the techniques and we will practise them in the group. You will also receive a class handout with instructions and a follow-up email with links to further information and to videos (where available) of the techniques practised. If you continue to practise the techniques at home, you are likely to notice the benefits in your everyday life.

How do I know which classes will be right for me?

The topics chosen for the classes are simply a convenient way to group together energy techniques to help with issues that can affect us in everyday life. However, because the techniques are designed to balance your body’s energies, they will have a broader effect than just helping with one particular issue. If you have particular topics you are interested in, then by all means book your place for specific classes. On the other hand, if you want to gain a broader experience of Eden Energy Medicine and to build up a repertoire of energy techniques that you can use for self care, then why not come to the whole series of 10 classes?

How much do the classes cost?

The cost is £7 per class, payable on the door. You can save money by paying for the 10 classes in advance, i.e. paying £60 (saving £10 on the full cost of £70). Advance payments may be made at Class 1, and they are non-refundable. However, if you need to miss a class that you have already paid for, you will receive the class handout and the follow up information by email.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes, do bring a friend who you think might be interested in the classes. All places need to be booked in advance. You can book a place for your friend when you book your own, or you can ask your friend to contact me directly to book their place.
